Business Challenge

Our client offers a personal assessment tool to improve individual and organizational effectiveness. In order to grow its business, our client partnered with Ingage Partners to develop from scratch its assessment system which is used to develop and deliver current and future products and services to a global customer base of 3000+ practitioners and more than 500,000 individuals.  

Ingage Leads the Change

Ingage Partners lead the effort using traditional approaches of business analysis, requirements gathering and analysis and design within an Agile framework, incorporating lean practices of iterative development and delivery. Ingage delivered much of the current functionality intact but on an extensible and scalable platform, all the while completely re-engineered other processes that had prevented our client from growing according to its plan. The project included migrating historical data of greater than 1.5 million assessments taken over a 30 year period and all the metadata associated with those assessments. The new system tracks the progress of individuals and makes it possible to maintain a life-long relationship with the customer. The project was completed over the course of 9 months at the Ingage office in Cincinnati.

Ingage ensured our client’s team would be well supported by recruiting a full-time staff developer to join the client’s team. This developer collaborated with the Ingage team throughout the project to ensure the system would be maintained long after our team completed the work. This client is a vocal supporter of our development practices and partnership.
