Charlie is a senior consultant at Ingage. He is currently focusing on building modern web applications that not only meet the needs of the business and their clientele, but does so in a secure, maintainable, and efficient manner. Charlie has over 15 years of experience leading development teams, defining project requirements, defining coding standards, applying secure coding techniques, and choosing technologies while implementing both commercial and enterprise applications.
After graduating from Ohio State University with a degree in computer engineering, he has been developing primarily for the Microsoft platform with a few forays into UNIX and even some mainframe development. Charlie is an active member of the local developer community. He has been a member of the Cincinnati .NET User Group (CINNUG) since 2008, and a Director since 2013. Charlie has earned both Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS), and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certifications in .NET. He is also certified SCRUM master (PSM I).
Charlie joined Ingage because of the opportunity to use his talents while also benefiting our community. He is excited about expanding his skillset, and growing both professionally and personally.
Charlie enjoys all things music, and most genres as well. In his spare time he plays in a cover band, The Dublin Defense. He also enjoys collecting, repairing, and building guitars and amplifiers. He recently mixed an album that was nominated for best album at the 2014 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards.
