Develop Deeper Customer Insights

By learning more about the user’s attitudes and needs through observation and 1:1 interviews, we partnered with an organization to establish a targeted design strategy and to present a strong case for engaging with our client.

Situation

To maintain their competitive lead in mobile banking, this high ranking banking institution asked Ingage Partners to develop the next generation of their Android mobile application and to implement the latest design methodologies across their iOS mobile application.

Solution 

Ingage Partners led efforts to design and test the user experiences for latest features in the iOS banking application. We conducted a full review of current functionality to expand and improve on current opportunities, including benefits like access to detailed account documents, the ability to activate new cards, and account access. By taking a comprehensive and holistic approach, as this project continues to progress with future updates, we will continue to leverage customer insights to implement new features in future releases.

Results 

Ingage Partners led work to adopt Google’s Material Design principles for Android ahead of the rest of the market, which made it possible to clearly and consistently inform the Android mobile application redesign. And importantly, positioned our client as a trendsetter in the Android marketplace. Additionally, we incorporated leading iOS design trends into the existing application, allowing the navigational structure to benefit from marketplace innovation. As part of this partnership, we brought new ideas and design philosophies into the organization to help our client meet the needs of the business and their customers.
