Requirements

• 5+ years UX experience
• Ability to influence and cultivate strong relationships with key business stakeholders and executives in the organization
• Experience with research, data analysis, facilitation, and strategy
• An understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Desire to support and connect in community

Responsibilities

• Comfortable with design thinking, agile approach, and rapid iteration
  
• Integrate business requirements into design
  
• Prepare/facilitate research, card sorting, user surveys or heuristic evaluations
  
• Create sketches, wireframes, prototypes, site-maps, user flows, personas, and scenarios to drive decisions, facilitate understanding, and reach consensus
  
• Drive usability testing with design mockups and functional prototypes
  
• Direct functionality, content, and navigation as part of project scope and phasing
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization to define, conceptualize and design user-facing applications
• Integrate business requirements into design

Nice to Have

• Degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or Information Science
  
• 7+ years in a commercial software development environment experience
  
• Competency in the agile application development process
  
• Understanding of front-end development process
  
• Understanding of front-end development technologies
